The Wait is Over

Time has come to update about the new house! And everything else that has happened since the last time we had functioning internet access. We apologize for the wait, but it was a long, hot week or so of moving, and then setting everything up turned out to be a little more dramatic than need be. So, most of this will be pictures with some commentary. Enjoy!

Random Chief pic to start.

For our July 4th celebration, we went to fireworks in nearby Addison. Chief got scared.

In Dallas, you basically park in a shopping center to watch. Other lights inevitably end up in the picture, and we don't have time for photoshop.

We also grilled on our new Weber grill via the generosity of Young Linda.

And then onto some of the drama. First up is the most ridiculous hail storm I have ever seen.

Then the cable guy came, and this is the result.

Anyway, we got that fixed and all is ready to go. Here are the pictures of our new place!

To the rescue!

Our local vegetation. It's about the only thing that lives in 104 degrees.

As evident by the pictures, moving highlights a lot of needs. Unfortunately we seem to have a lot of them. Mostly we have big frames with nothing to put in them, or things we want to frame but they are odd sizes. Our wall space is vast but presently empty. It'll be a cinch to decorate for Christmas though.

Also, we kind of need a new bed spread, couch, television, turn table, bed, dining room table/chairs, and more decorations. With that said, I think we've done a pretty good job.

Hopefully the next update won't be so long in between, and I do apologize again. We'll see you all soon!
